A Genshin Impact leak has revealed more information about a powerful boss that will arrive in the upcoming Version 5.1. Genshin Impact's Natlan region arrived a couple of days ago, and it's filled with tons of new content, including explorable terrain, playable characters, and powerful enemies.
With almost every update, Genshin Impact adds more enemies that can usually be found by exploring the game's overworld. While most of these enemies can be beaten without much struggle, developer HoYoverse keeps increasing the complexity of these NPCs.
A recent post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed a unique type of mechanic that will arrive alongside a new enemy in Version 5.1. According to the leak, the enemy will belong to Genshin Impact's Automaton family, a popular enemy faction that consists of ancient Ruin machines. In its normal state, the Automaton boss will have all RES increased to 60%, making it one of the highest RES bosses in the game. Using the Nightsoul effect will create special pillars that can be climbed by using the abilities of the Children of Echoes. On top of each pillar, players will be able to attack a core weak point, which reduces the boss's RES significantly.
Genshin Impact 5.1 Leak Reveals New Boss Mechanic
The Children of Echoes, also known as Nanatzcayan, is one of the six tribes in Natlan. The only known playable characters that belong to this tribe are the four-star Geo user Kachina and the upcoming five-star Xilonen. Many fans in the comment section expressed their frustration with the new enemy, claiming that in a way, HoYoverse is forcing players to have Kachina or Xilonen in their main party. Luckily, Genshin Impact has handed out a free copy of Kachina, which can be used to make the fight against this enemy much easier.
However, a couple of Travelers have pointed out that while they have Kachina in their roster, they do not want to invest any resources into leveling her, especially since the upcoming updates will introduce many exciting playable units. Multiple comments also state that they hope this boss never makes it into Genshin Impact's Spiral Abyss domain.
Players who plan to get Xilonen probably won't have a hard time fighting this new Automaton machine. She has been officially confirmed to arrive in Genshin Impact Version 5.1, and many leaks suggest that she will be a supportive unit. Unlike most Geo supports in the game, Xilonen's kit will be much more flexible, and she should be able to fit many different types of team compositions.
