A new Genshin Impact animated short has revealed more details about the backstory of the upcoming five-star Pyro user Arlecchino. This popular character was introduced back in 2022 as one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, a group of high-ranking officers who work for the Snezhnaya Archon Tsaritsa.
Arlecchino also played the role of the main villain in Genshin Impact's ongoing Fontaine arc, which introduced tons of new characters. The official storyline has confirmed that Arlecchino manages the House of Hearts orphanage, which raised many notable Fatui members, including The Knave herself.

The start of the video shows Arlecchino arranging a funeral for a spider, which many fans find symbolic, considering that recent Genshin Impact leaks revealed that one of her boss phases was inspired by spiders. The footage also shows Arlecchino killing a red-haired character who used to be one of her childhood friends. The animated short got a lot of attention in the community as it gathered over 400k views in just a couple of hours, with many fans praising the attention to detail shown in the video.
The video also confirmed that Arlecchino defeated one of the former Harbingers, the previous manager of the House of Hearts orphanage. This opened a position in the organization which was offered to Arlecchino by the Director of the Fatui known as Pierro.
