Genshin Impact's Arataki Itto is a bit of a trope character, but a fun one — he's a muscular, kind, and funny man who isn't always the brightest. Despite this, he's left a lasting impact on many players during the Inazuma arc of the game, becoming a victim of the Vision Hunt Decree but not going down easy. He caused quite the headache for Kujou Sara and eventually reclaimed his Geo Vision, which he wields alongside a claymore.

Players who have added this trouble-making oni to their team might want to level him up and upgrade his talents. To do this, Itto needs quite a few items and some Mora. We've outlined everything needed to power up the great Arataki Itto. Read on for all the Itto ascension materials you'll need!

Leveling Materials

Though he considers himself above many other people, Itto still uses the same amount of EXP as any other playable character to reach level 90. Reaching this level requires quite a few EXP materials. Between each ascension level, Itto will require more and more EXP and Mora, as follows:

Gemstones - Where to Find Prithiva Topaz

Arataki Itto is one of Genshin Impact's Geo characters, meaning he'll use Prithiva Topaz in his ascension. Enemy Drop - Where to Find Slime Drops

Slimes are found basically everywhere, which is great because Itto needs a lot of their material drops to ascend. Higher level Slimes can drop better and better materials:

Any level: Slime Condensate
Level 40 and higher: Slime Secretions
Level 60 and higher: Slime Concentrate

Boss Drop - How to Get Riftborn Regalia

One of Inazuma's standard bosses in Genshin Impact is the Golden Wolflord. It'll drop Riftborn Regalia, which is a material used by only Arataki Itto and Yun Jin at the moment.

Find the Golden Wolflord at the southern edge of Tsurumi Island in Inazuma.

Local Specialty - Where to Find Onikabuto

Itto has an interesting love of insects and battles with Onikabuto, which is probably why he'll use Onikabuto to ascend. For a while, he was the only character that used these beetles for ascension, but Heizou uses them now, too.

Onikabuto can be found around Inazuma, specifically in places with high Electro concentrations. Such places include the Mikage Furnace and Mt. Yougou.

Talent Books - Elegance

As a brash, bold, in-your-face oni who features a bull motif, it's a bit surprising that Itto will use the Elegance series of talent books to upgrade his talents, but alas, it's one of the Itto talent materials.

Find the Elegance series by clearing the Violet Court domain on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Trounce Materials

The weekly trounce material Itto uses for talent upgrades is the Ashen Heart. These are one of the rewards for defeating La Signora at her trounce domain.
