As Teyvat is full of wondrous caves that are littered with secrets to explore, so is Simulanka Island in Genshin Impact. Version 4.8 introduces the Summertide Scales and Tides event, where players are randomly thrown onto a strange origami island alongside other characters in Genshin Impact.
One of the many mysteries in the starting area, Forest of Blessings, is the Cave of Eerie Murmurs. You can only access the cave after completing two world quests in the forest; The Lotus Leaf and the Champion World Quest as well as The Forest and the Princess World Quest. Both quests will introduce players to some of the puzzle mechanics which you will use multiple times to solve the trials in the Cave of Eerie Murmurs.

Collecting all the Excerpts Of Bliss in Forest Of Blessings will reward players with 90 Primogems and the Jocund Letters.
How To Complete The First Trial In The Cave Of Eerie Murmurs
To solve the first trial in the Cave of Eerie Murmurs, players need to combine Princess Cimest’s flying abilities to go through the garlands, and control the Waterspout via Faurobert.
- Activate both sleepy flowers in Genshin Impact to release a wind current.
- Ask Faurobert to raise the Waterspout.
- Send Cimest through the four garlands situated northwest.
- Turn around and climb the flower platform to be elevated.
- Once you are on top, summon Cimest back through the garlands.
Travelers will be rewarded with an Exquisite Chest in Genshin Impact, and both Cimest and Faurobert will strike up a conversation. Once it’s over, you can start the next trial.
How To Complete The Second Trial In The Cave Of Eerie Murmurs
To solve the second trial in the Cave of Eerie Murmurs, players must use the same mechanics as in the previous trial, only this time, Faurobert has two Waterspouts to control.
- Drop the Waterspout on the right.
- Make Faurobert jump to the left drum and drop the Waterspout to the left.
- Activate all three sleepy flowers.
- Head northwest and aim at the garlands to make Cimest fly through all of them.
- Jump on the moving platform and reach the top.
- Summon the squirrel through the circles to end the trial successfully.
After a conversation and a small cutscene, Travelers will fly out of the cave and land near the Tavern. Claim the Luxurious Chest and enjoy the 40 Primogems rewarded upon completing the trials in the Cave of Eerie Murmurs.
Activating the sleepy flowers and positioning them in the right spot thanks to Faurobert will relocate some of the garlands for better access as well as force the princess to fly on a specific route.
