Iansan is the character featured in the Natlan chapter of Genshin Impact's Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail, so most players knew about her existence long before Natlan was planned. However, not many expected her to be a 4-star character, although it's a possibility considering the featured character from Liyue is Ningguang, who's also a 4-star unit. Instead, the 5-star character released along with Iansan is Varesa, a competitive eater from the Collective of Plenty, the same tribe as Iansan.
