A Genshin Impact chart has revealed the estimated Primogem count for the upcoming update 5.1. Primogems are widely considered the most important currency in Genshin Impact since they are used to buy Acquaint and Intertwined Fates, which can be spent for pulls on a banner.
Genshin Impact's gacha-based system requires players to pull on various banners in order to get their desired characters, which is HoYoverse's main source of revenue for most of its games. While players can spend real-life money to increase their chances of acquiring a five-star unit, Genshin Impact also allows Travelers to get a sizable amount of Primogems for free. This is usually done by participating in various event-exclusive activities, such as limited questlines, or by simply completing Daily Commissions.
Rumor: Genshin Impact Leak Teases Chasca's Ability Kit
Thanks to a reliable source, Genshin Impact players can finally get a first impression of Chasca's ability kit, who is set to release in Version 5.2.
An interesting chart posted on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed the estimated amount of free Primogems that should be available in the upcoming update 5.1. According to the chart, players will be able to get around 10,140 Primogems for free, which amounts to about 63 wishes. In combination with The Blessing of the Welkin Moon, players will be able to get 89 wishes, which should be enough to get a five-star character, since they have a 90-wish pity. One of the most interesting details about the chart is that it does not include any bonus Primogems for unlocking Genshin Impact's Teleport Waypoints, which gives more credibility to previous rumors claiming that update 5.1 will not unlock a new part of Natlan.
Genshin Impact Version 5.1 Expectations and Release Date
Some fans suspect that HoYoverse wants to give Travelers time to process how Genshin Impact's new region Natlan and its mechanics work before introducing more explorable terrain. This also means that Version 5.2 will almost certainly include an additional sub-region. When it comes to playable units, developer HoYoverse has confirmed that 5.1 will introduce only one new five-star character, Xilonen, who is expected to be a Geo support.
The fact that Xilonen is the only new five-star character indicates that three characters will receive a re-run in the next update. One of them will probably be an Archon, considering that HoYoverse has a pattern of including Archon re-runs in the first couple of updates after a major region arrives. For example, the second part of the ongoing Genshin Impact update 5.0 will feature the famous Raiden Shogun.
It's unlikely that Genshin Impact's Lady Furina will be part of 5.1, considering that she was recently featured on a double banner. Going by HoYoverse's usual schedule of releasing updates, players can expect Version 5.1 to arrive around October 9.
