A new Genshin Impact chart has revealed the most popular characters and teams used in the 4.8 Spiral Abyss. Genshin Impact update 4.8 has introduced a new summer-themed event called Summertide Scales and Tales, which brought tons of new limited quest lines that are not tied to the main storyline.
Genshin Impact's Spiral Abyss is probably the hardest domain in the game, often requiring players to deploy their most powerful team compositions. The domain consists of 12 floors, each harder than the previous one. The floors have multiple chambers that contain several waves of powerful enemies that need to be defeated within a certain time frame to collect important rewards, such as Primogems.

A new Genshin Impact leak reveals which enemies players will have to defeat to complete the Spiral Abyss domain in version 5.0.
A Twitter user named hxg_diluc has revealed a couple of interesting charts that reveal the most popular characters and teams used in the current Spiral Abyss. This chart is helpful for new players since it usually shows the most effective team compositions against the current enemy lineup. At the top of the list with a 95.3% usage rate sits the famous Fontaine Archon, better known as Lady Furina, who is considered by many the best Hydro character in Genshin Impact. Like the previously released Archons, Furina's strength lies in her ability to adapt to almost any team composition that needs a powerful Hydro support.

Another reason Furina's usage rate is so high is that she was featured on a limited banner alongside the new five-star character Sigewinne. The second place is also taken by another Hydro user from Fontaine, the Dragon of Water Neuvillette. He is widely considered the most powerful Hydro DPS character in Genshin Impact, thanks to an extremely powerful Charged Attack that can wipe out groups of enemies with its AoE damage. The third and fourth most used characters are the Anemo support Kazuha and Liyue's Dendro healer Baizhu.
Unsurprisingly, the most used Genshin Impact team composition consists of these four characters, and it has a 60.8% usage rate, which is impressive for team comps. In comparison, the second most used party has a 29.8% usage rate, and it consists of Alhaitham, Nahida, Xingqiu, and Kuki Shinobu.
According to the list, the most used four-star character is Mondstadt's unluckiest adventurer, Bennett. He is still probably the best four-star character in Genshin Impact, which is also proven by his high usage rate, even though Pyro damage is not as effective against the enemy lineup in the Spiral Abyss.
