Genshin Impact has officially revealed the list of four-star characters that will arrive in the upcoming phase 1 of Version 4.5. HoYoverse's updates for this game are divided into two parts that contain a different set of limited characters and weapons.
Genshin Impact's playable roster can be divided into two categories when it comes to rarity: five-star and four-star units. Five-stars are much harder to obtain as they run on a 90-wish pity, which means that players can theoretically spend 89 wishes and not get a five-star drop. Four-star characters, on the other hand, are much more common due to their 10-wish pity, but the odds are equally divided between three units.
Genshin Impact's recent livestream event has already confirmed that the first part of update 4.5 will feature two five-star characters, Arataki Itto and the new Geo user Chiori. She was featured in Fontaine's main storyline, which introduced her as a famous fashion designer from the Inazuma region. A new official Genshin Impact announcement has revealed which four-star characters will join Chiori and Itto on their banner.

What Is Chiori's Role?
This will be the first time for Genshin Impact to feature four different Geo users on their limited banners. This could be an indicator that Chiori has great synergy with all of these characters. Her main role is sub-DPS, thanks to a kit that can deal tons of damage even when she leaves the field. Chiori also has great synergy with another recently introduced five-star Geo user, Navia Caspar, who is considered the best Geo DPS in Genshin Impact alongside Arataki Itto.
Gorou is a four-star support and the go-to choice for most team compositions that have at least one or two Geo characters. Since he was officially added to the game, Gorou has always accompanied Itto on a limited banner. He is a must-have four-star support for players who want to run Genshin Impact's famous mono-Geo party.
The only character that uses a different element on this banner is Sumeru's Electro user, Dori. She can provide decent healing effects as well as serve as battery support in Genshin Impact thanks to her high potential to generate Energy particles.
