Genshin Impact has confirmed which four-star characters will arrive alongside Focalors and Baizhu on the first Limited Character Banner in update 4.2. Each limited banner in the game features one or two five-stars and three four-star characters who are much easier to acquire since they run on a 10-wish pity.
The recent livestream event has confirmed that Focalors, also known as Lady Furina, will be the only new five-star character in the update which means that three Genshin Impact characters will receive re-runs. The Dendro user Baizhu will be part of the first banner cycle while Kamisato Ayato and Cyno will be featured in the second part of the update.
With the Wriothesley and Venti double banner coming to an end, it's time for a new set of limited characters to take their place. Players won't have to wait for long to get their hands on the new characters as the recent livestream confirmed that the next update will drop around November 8. Genshin Impact's official social media accounts have now revealed which four-star characters will join Furina and Baizhu on the first banner for Genshin Impact version 4.2. According to the announcement, the banner will feature the following characters:
- Focalors - five-star Hydro sword character
- Baizhu - five-star Dendro catalyst user
- Charlotte - four-star Cryo catalyst user
- Beidou - four-star Electro claymore user
- Collei - four-star Dendro bow user
Overall fans seem to be very happy with the lineup considering that both new characters, Lady Furina and Charlotte, will appear on the same banner. This means that players will be able to get both of them by spending their Primogems on a single Limited Character Banner. Charlotte was the first Fontaine character to be introduced to the game as she made her official appearance even before the Hydro nation arrived.
According to the livestream, Focalors will be a powerful Hydro support with a unique kit that allows her to create different elemental lifeforms. These creatures will attack nearby enemies or targets that the active character is focused on. The Elemental Burst makes Furina deal AoE Hydro damage that scales with her max. HP.
Baizhu is the best Dendro healer in Genshin Impact at the moment and rumors claim that a new artifact set will soon be released that fits his playstyle perfectly. Baizhu is also expected to have great synergy with Furina as he will be able to keep her healthy thanks to his defensive capabilities.
