Genshin Impact 3.4 livestream is filled with exciting information for the next version. Two Dendro characters will be added in version 3.4, along with a whole new area of Genshin Impact Sumeru. This makes the third area of Sumeru, with the main city in version 3.0, and the desert in Genshin Impact 3.1.
Other than that, players will also journey back to Liyue to celebrate the Lantern Rite festival. This event appears to be an annual occasion, as it was celebrated in version 1.3, and again in Genshin Impact 2.4. New Characters: Alhaitham And Yaoyao
Alhaitham and Yaoyao will both be released in Genshin Impact 3.4. Alhaitham is a 5-star sword character, while Yaoyao is a 4-star polearm wielder.
New Character Banners: Alhaitham, Yaoyao, And Xiao
Alhaitham’s banner will come in the first half with a rerun of Xiao. Yaoyao is featured here as well.
Re-run Characters Banners: Hu Tao And Yelan
Meanwhile, in the second half, Hu Tao and Yelan will both be featured.
New Area
A new desert area of Sumeru will be released in Genshin Impact 3.4. Along it, players can expect a new boss, achievements, enemies, domains, World Quests, and commissions.
New Boss
A new World Boss, Setekh Wenut, is set to be the first boss of 3.4 deserts. Players likely have to farm this boss to get materials for Alhaitham.
New Enemy
A lot of new enemies will be introduced in version 3.4, like:
- Eremite Scorching Loremaster
- Eremite Floral Ring-Dancer
- Consecrated Beast
New Weapons
Alhaitham’s signature sword, Light of Foliar Incision, is a new 5-star weapon. There’s no announcement on 4-star weapons for Genshin Impact 3.4.
New Story Quest
As usual, a 5-star character always comes with their own Story Quest. Alhaitham’s Story Quest can be played in version 3.4.
New Events
These are the new events in Genshin Impact 3.4:
- Lantern Rite
- Second Blooming
- Warrior’s Spirit
- Almighty Arataki Extraordinary and Exhilarating Extreme Beetle Brawl
The Lantern Rite will come with a Fortuitous Invitation where players can pick one Liyue character to invite. 10 free Intertwined Fate and some other freebies can also be expected around the Lantern Rite event.
New TCG Cards
The developers teased some new additions coming to TCG, including new cards and some variations in game style.
New Character Outfit (Skins)
In version 3.4, two characters will have brand-new outfits, Ayaka and Lisa.
Ayaka - Springbloom Missive
For the first time ever, outside the starter characters, HoYoverse introduces a new skin for Kamisato Ayaka, called Springbloom Missive.
Lisa - A Sobriquet Under Shade
Lisa also got her time to shine with a new costume related to her time in Sumeru. To obtain her skin, players have to take part in the Second Blooming event, coming in Genshin Impact 3.4.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
