The critically-acclaimed turn-based RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was added to Game Pass Ultimate on day one, and so was the beloved first-person puzzle game Blue Prince. And that was just in April. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate received the well-reviewed Citizen Sleeper 2 in January, Avowed in February, and Atomfall in March. Game Pass Ultimate is showing no signs of slowing down, with new games confirmed to be coming to the service in the months ahead.

The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate summer lineup is starting to take shape, with subscribers now able to add yet another game to the list. Gears of War: Reloaded will launch on August 26, and it will be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers the same day of its release. Gears of War: Reloaded is the second remaster of the original Gears of War, adding new bells and whistles like 4K resolution to bring the classic co-op third-person shooter game up to modern standards.
Gears of War: Reloaded is Coming to Xbox Game Pass on August 26
Gears of War: Reloaded is so far the only day one Xbox Game Pass Ultimate release confirmed for August 2025, but June and July have multiple games confirmed. The Alters will be coming to Game Pass Ultimate on June 13, followed by FBC: Firebreak on June 17 and Rematch on June 19. Console gamers can also look forward to Against the Storm on June 26, with the critically-acclaimed city builder already available to PC Game Pass subscribers. In July, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 will join Game Pass Ultimate on the 11th, with Soulslike game Wuchang: Fallen Feathers coming on the 24th.
There are still new day one games for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to look forward to in May 2025. Doom: The Dark Ages is coming to Game Pass Ultimate on May 15, while Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo is joining the lineup on May 16. To a T will be added to Game Pass Ultimate on May 28, and finally, Spray Paint Simulator will be added on May 29.
