Gears of War: Reloaded is Now Available for Preloading on Xbox Series X|S and PC

As noted by XboxEra, Gears of War: Reloaded is now available for preloading on Xbox Series X|S and PC. At 68.43 GB, players who pre-ordered the game or have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can already download the files, while for Windows PC, the preload files are just over 70 GB and can be downloaded through the Xbox PC app. This way, players can ensure a quick installation when Gears of War: Reloaded releases on August 26. In addition to the Xbox release, the game will be available for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5.

Players can expect Gears of War: Reloaded to offer the base game experience with the campaign that follows Marcus Fenix and his companions, along with the multiplayer. This version of the game will also include all post-launch content from the original Gears of War, which covers multiplayer maps, cosmetics, and modes. Utilizing the power of current technology, Gears of War: Reloaded will be playable in 4K resolution and up to 120 FPS, and will feature remastered textures, enhanced lighting, real-time shadows and reflections, Ultrawide support, cross-play, and cross-progression.
