It's time for another episode of The Best War Games Arcade, this time recorded on Saint Patrick's Day, the luckiest day of the year. While it was a fairly slow news week, there's still quite a bit for Cameron and Anthony to discuss in The Best War Games Arcade Episode 13, even featuring a bit of Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance talk.
Kicking things off, Outriders is headed to Xbox Game Pass on day one, offering players a big new game to enjoy on the service. It's a big deal for both the game and the service, and may indicate that Xbox is after even more third-party games for the future. With Game Pass also adding 20 Bethesda games recently, Game Pass is becoming increasingly central to Microsoft's plans.
Next up, Jade Raymond is working on a PlayStation exclusive game. There are next to no details about what this will end up being, but considering Raymond's previous work on franchises like Assassin's Creed, it could be a big win for PlayStation. With Raymond's studio being so new, it'll likely be some time before fans hear anything else on the project.
On top of that. Crystal Dynamics is hiring for a new project. While the Square Enix Presents show essentially confirmed that it's not a new Tomb Raider game, it's still promising for the developer. Unfortunately, Crystal Dynamics is still struggling with Marvel's Avengers' poor reception.
Finally, Nintendo is expecting a ton of software sales between now and next year, but it isn't entirely clear why. Plus, Dying Light 2 released a developer update, sort of, but it didn't do much to inspire confidence in the upcoming zombie game.
