The story follows Rudo Surebrec as he tries to unravel the mystery behind his past and to bring revenge against those who threw him aside. The story has a myriad of strong characters that aren’t easy to rank. In this discussion, the characters ranked are based on the things that they have accomplished in the manga so far. This means that characters such as Corvus and The Watchman who are surely incredibly strong won’t feature.

10 Bundus Begalkeit

A ‘Rookie’ Who Doesn’t Look Like It

There is a police show called The Rookie starring Nathan Fillion as a 40-something year-old who joins the police force as a, well, rookie. This is what Bundus Begalkeit feels like as a member of the Raiders. Bundus’ is an older man whose exterior belies his frightening ability.

With his Jinki, which he simply calls ‘Hands,’ he is able to to a number of things. Most impressively, he was able to hold back Enjin, Riyo, Rudo, and co during the Trash Storm arc. His performance was so impressive that it prompted Zodyl to immediately make him part of the Raiders frontline.

9 Riyo Reaper

She Seems to Have More Secrets than Years of Life

Riyo is one of the earliest characters introduced in the manga, and as time went on, it became clear that the initially cheery girl is actually a lot deeper and more mysterious than she first lets on. She uses the scissors Jinki, which is called ‘The Ripper.’

Riyo is able to enlarge her Jinki to cut through beasts and fight off opponents. While this makes her impressive, what really makes her strong is her willingness to use underhanded means to win a fight, as demonstrated in her confrontation with Noerde, who she shot down with ease.

8 Zanka Nijiku

The Average Guy is Not so Average at All

Zanka Nijiku is one of the more fascinating characters from Gachiakuta and was the first person tasked with training Rudo. He comes from a prominent family and revels in calling himself a very average person. He fights with his Jinki, which he calls ‘Assistaff,’ and is unexpectedly excited when he receives a compliment from Enjin.

Zanka is a character that does all the fundamentals of fighting well. He claims he is not a genius, but his ability to read the situation in a fight and analyze enemies never ceases to impress. He was able to analyze Amo when they fought, and he was more than a match for Jabber Wonger.

7 Jabber Wonger

The Resident Loon of the Manga

Jabber Wonger is the crazy character archetype that one finds in most shonen, and this makes him incredibly volatile and unpredictable. As a member of the Raiders frontline, he is definitely a strong character, and his obsession with fighting is nothing short of creepy.

He fights primarily using poisons, which he has in his menacing claws. The real terror of Jabber Wonger is his relentlessness. He will happily poison himself just to feel pain, but this also makes him hard to take down. He is also adept at layering his offense, like against Zanga when he poisoned him three times, with each one expected to do something else to incapacitate the hero.

6 Noerde Hew Amozo

Noerde’s Interesting Ability Stumped Even the Best

Noerde Hew Amozo was one of the Raider ‘recruits’ that faced off against the Cleaners during the Trash Storm arc, and when she fought Riyo, she showed off her fascinating Jinki, which had everything to do with her hair.

Noerde used a comb with which she combed her hair incessantly and that created electricity. She showed off just how powerful she could be when she held down all the cleaners to stop them from taking down the trash beast in the standoff between the cleaners and raiders. Even Rudo, who tried to shake off the effects of the shock, couldn’t find a way.

5 Tamsy Caines

One of the Most Mysterious Characters in the Manga

Tamsy’s position on this list will be controversial, but here’s the thing: Tamsy is incredibly strong, but the full extent of his ability has not been shown, and based on what has been revealed so far, he is certainly crazy strong, but not at the top of any lists yet.

Tamsy, as has been revealed, is a character that can travel between worlds. In combat, he uses a Jinki that he calls Tokushin, which acts as a net that can restrain characters, and when he unravels the spool at speed, he can unleash devastating attacks that take down opponents.

4 Fu Orostor

A True Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Fu Orostor is the shy-looking character who started out with the Raiders before joining the cleaners as an ally. In his normal form, he seems pretty underwhelming and is even unable to start a fight by himself, but once he switches places with his doll, he becomes an absolute beast.

Fu’s Jinki is his cursed doll, Hii. When Fu is flustered with no one to order him around, Hii takes over and is imbued with substantial physical abilities and strength. In terms of raw power, there are few to compare with him, and he is a character capable of taking just about anyone down.

3 Rudo Surebrec

Rudo is Both Engaging and Strong

Rudo is the protagonist of the series who starts off as a nobody who is interested in trash before he finally joins the cleaners and starts to develop his powers. Rudo is surprisingly empathetic despite his rough exterior, and his ability to grow as both a character and fighter endears him to readers.

Rudo’s Jinki, the 3Rs, is a power that is somewhat unique in the Gachiakuta story, since he is, in essence, able to turn anything into a Jinki and utilize its full abilities before it falls apart. Rudo will probably become the strongest, but so far, his fight against Jabber Wonger, his crashout against Amo, and even fighting Follo all show his incredible ability.

2 Enjin

One of the Strongest Cleaners

Enjin is the aspirational and defacto leader of the cleaners. While Corvus is the overall leader and perhaps the strongest, Enjin has been the more explored character between the two. Enjin was also the one who found Rudo and brought him to join the cleaners.

Enjin’s Jinki, Umbreaker, is one of the coolest weapons in the story, and he can use it to bring down the biggest monsters. Enjin’s ability to bring his team together and the trust they implicitly place in him is another great strength of his. He is a great leader and role model for Rudo.

1 Zodyl Typhon

A Worthy Villain

Zodyl Typhon is the leader of the Raiders and is connected to Rudo in that they both share a Jinki within the same ‘series,’ with both Rudo’s gloves and Zodyl’s jacket being parts of the watchman series of Jinkis. With his ability, Zodyl is able to gain different abilities based on what he eats.

Zodyl is strong enough to cause someone as uncontrollable as Jabber Wonger to exercise caution. Zodyl is also a very analytical character, carefully planning his moves, but when he gets moving, he is a terrifying opponent indeed.
