One distinct feature of Funko Fusion is its cameo quests. Not to be mistaken for cameo worlds, which are entire playable levels in the game, cameo quests require players to find an iconic pop culture character and complete an objective. After this, they'll need to find the character an additional six times in other levels.
A popular addition to the roster of 60+ characters in the game is Mega Man, who will need players to help him get back to Rush. Players who want to know how to unlock Mega Man in Funko Fusion can follow these instructions to find and help the character in the seven different locations across the game.
Funko Fusion: How To Unlock Chucky
Chucky is one of the many hidden characters players can unlock in Funko Fusion, and requires finding him in many of the game's worlds.
How To Start Mega Man Cameo Quest in Funko Fusion
In order to start the seven-part cameo quest to unlock Mega Man in Funko Fusion, players will need to find the character in the Double Dragon level of the Scott Pilgrim world. To do this, they will first need to defeat the level's boss and acquire the key to go outside.
Once outside, players should venture to the left and head all the way up the street. There is a chest sitting in a pile of snow, which is in front of the Paws and Claws Sanctuary. On the other side of the pile is purple chest with question marks on it. Open the chest and grab the access key card, and take it back to the main room where you battled the twins.
Mega Man will be found in the room on the opposite side to the exit you are coming in from, on the other side of the twins' stage. Once in the room, you'll find Mega Man trapped in a green energy field. Simply turn off the switch to the left of the field as you walk in, then escort Mega Man to Rush to complete the first leg of the quest. As you escort him, you'll be met by waves of enemies, so it would be wise to take some Soda bottles with you, as you'll need to spend your health to revive him if he falls as well.
How to Unlock Mega Man in Funko Fusion
Once you have escorted Mega Man to Rush, he will then be available in six other worlds. You will need to find him in each of these worlds and escort him to Rush again. Once all escort missions are completed, Mega Man will be made available as a playable character. Here are all the levels where you can find Mega Man, as well as tips on where exactly he is situated:

Back To The Future |
As you enter the level turn left and follow the road, then turn right and head to the back-left corner of the map. Mega Man will be found there, next to the car dealership. To release him, you'll need the Portal from Masters of the Universe and one of the Battlestar Galactica characters, as they have the blasters that operate the mechanisms. |
|
Scare Mare (Masters Of the Universe) |
Head up the ramp away from the battlefield and use Umbrella Academy' s Number Five to blink to the other side of the rock. You'll need a Battlestar Galactica character to operate the triangle mechanism, using the buttons to raise and lower the stone. Once they're activated, use a Portal to jump to the upper level and pull the lever. |
|
Nope |
After talking to the character at the start of the level, go out the gate and to the right. As you round the corner, you'll find Mega Man. It's best to use The Thing's Childs here, as he can quickly melt the red barrels hiding the spark plug. You'll also need a Battery, which you can unlock in Jurassic World. |
|
Shaun Of The Dead |
In the first half of the mission (before the cutscene), Mega Man is next to the crime scene and a blue moulding station. Leave the car at the start of the world, as it can interfere with the escort and the two parties end up getting in the way of each other. You'll need the CSI Black Light from Hot Fuzz to release the character from the energy field. |
|
Prime Time Crime (Hot Fuzz) |
As you enter the level, turn left as you would to follow the goose, then turn right and go to the end of the street. You will need He-Man from Masters of the Universe to break open the gold coverings blocking your way. |
|
House Hunters (The Umbrella Academy) |
After completing the main objective and entering through the Funkey door, head up the stairs and melt the ice to access the key card in the purple chest on the left (You can craft a gas canister from The Thing, or by using The Thing's character Childs). With the key card, go back to through the Funkey door, down the stairs, down the hall, and down the next set of stairs. As you reach the end of the hall, there will be a door with a "Security Level 2" sign on it, which you can open with the keycard. |
Once players have completed all escort quests, they will unlock Mega Man as a playable character, have all the pieces of another Proto weapon, and unlock the "Send Me Your Strongest Machine" trophy/achievement in Funko Fusion.
