Funko Fusion reimagines some of the most iconic franchises of the last few decades in the likeness of their popular figurines. It doesn't just cover the seven unique worlds players can explore, either, but an abundance of secret cameo worlds from fan-favorite franchises.
One heavily sought-after secret world is that of iconic film series Back To The Future, which is available to players if they know where to look and the conditions under which it can be unlocked. In this guide, we will explain how to unlock the Back To The Future cameo world in Funko Fusion, as well as the world's two characters.
Funko Fusion: Trophy/Achievement Guide
Completing all the optional in-game achievements in Funko Fusion might be more challenging, and time-consuming, than players expect.
How To Unlock Back To The Future Cameo World in Funko Fusion
The Back To The Future cameo world can be found in the first level of the Jurassic World playable world in Funko Fusion, but it is behind a locked door guarded by a stubborn security guard and a glass wall. To even humor the idea of accessing this bonus themed level, you'll first need to unlock the Scott Pilgrim Vs The World and The Umbrella Academy worlds. This is because you will require Allison's persuasion ability from The Umbrella Academy, and the Amp mouldable item from Scott Pilgrim.
Once you have unlocked both of these worlds and received the required character and item, you can proceed to the Back To The Future world. From the entry point to the level, the Back To The Future entrance can be found if you go to the left as you exit the building, then proceed to the end of the path until you find the last left turn - you'll find a Dilphosaurus here that will need to be taken down as part of the main quest. As you turn left, you'll find a bright purple door with a question mark on it.
As Allison, players will need to approach the guard and hold the indicated button to convince him to let you through. After that, switch to either Scott Pilgrim or Stephen Stills, craft an Amp from a blue moulding station, and set it in front of the glass. Ensure the Amp is set to the Treble Clef, then shoot at it with your guitar to break the glass. This will give you access to the room, and the ability to start the Back To The Future cameo quest.
How To Unlock Marty McFly & Doc in Funko Fusion
Within the Back To The Future cameo world are two unlockable characters for players to claim - none other than the iconic duo of Marty McFly and Doc. In order to grab them, however, players will need to fulfill some additional requirements. To unlock Marty, players will need to complete the primary objective and claim the crown. To unlock Doc, players will need to collect all seven Silver Crowns in the level.
How To Unlock Marty McFly in Funko Fusion
To complete the Back To The Future world, players will need to replace the four wheels on the DeLorean, as well as help Doc restore the antenna. Here are the locations of the wheels:
- The first wheel can be found in the bank next to the DeLorean. To get into the building, you'll need to shoot the four bells in sequence, then the door will open. You'll need two Batteries, which you can charge at the telegraph pole just outside the building. The first one needs to go into the slot on the far right, which will release the first spark plug. Then, put the two Batteries in the two left slots to release the second spark plug. Finally, take the Battery in the far left slot and put it in the third slot to open the safe and release the a coin. Then, take the coin to the area indicated by the marker and put it in the slot. The machine will pump up the wheel and release it
- The second wheel can be found halfway up the street on the same side of the map as the DeLorean. Using Number Five, blink through the closed garage doors and into the auto shop. Shoot all of the purple glowing shelves until you find the wheel. To get it out of the shop, pull the lever next to the entrance, blink out, and change your character to Scott Pilgrim or Stephen Stills. Craft an Amp, place it in front of the left window, and charge the Amp to break through.
- The third wheel can be found in the car dealership in the back-left corner, to the left of Mega Man. Using Allison, convince the shop owner to let you in, then proceed to the first car. Shoot the wheels in the correct sequence, and the wheel will be released.
- The final wheel is in the car repair shop, which is to the right of the level's entry. To get in, put a charged battery in to open the door, then turn left at the entrance and break through the crates to reveal another battery slot. Put a second battery in the slot inside the building to open the other door, then take the one out from the outside slot. With both batteries in the building, put them both in the slots on the back wall and the battery will be revealed.
Once players have the four wheels, they'll then need to help Doc. To do this, you'll need to go to the theater. To complete this part, players should first craft a Bounce Pad and two Amps (or one Amp and bring the other one from earlier). Then, use the existing Bounce Pad to jump onto the front of the theater roof, and place the second one. Then, take the first Amp and put it on the ledge on the left, so you can cross the gap there. With the second Amp, activate the first one and carry the second one across to the next building.
Once on the second building, carry the Amp up to the platform by using the Bounce Pad, and place it facing the Town Center. Activate the Amp and cross the gap to the Center. From the Center, follow the roof along the right, pick up the antenna, then place it on the roof to the left of Doc. This will reveal the key, which you will need to take back to the DeLorean. This will trigger a cutscene where the antenna falls.
After the cutscene, a timer for one minute will start, whereby players will need to pick up the antenna and follow the same path and replace the antenna again. This will complete the mission, and the crown will be available where the DeLorean disappeared.
How To Unlock Doc in Funko Fusion
To unlock Doc, you'll need to collect all seven Silver Crowns. Here is how you can acquire all of them.
