Fans have been curious about who is the Boy in White on From ever since he first appeared. The Boy in White is a mysterious and creepy character who could be a ghost. He appears in seasons 1 and 2 of the sci-fi/horror TV series. Since an explanation hasn't been given about where he came from and who or what he really is, it seems likely that fans will get more answers since From got a season 3 renewal.

Several characters have strange and intense interactions with The Boy in White on From. He plays an important role in the season 1 and season 2 finale of From. The Boy in White has a brief exchange with Sara Myers (Avery Konrad) and says that she needs to get away from the Creatures because they are dangerous. He shows her that hiding in the Farway Tree is the best idea. At the end of season 2, he shoves Tabitha Matthews (Catalina Sandino Moreno) out the window of a tower, and his motivations are still unclear.

Victor (Scott McCord) and Ethan Matthews (Simon Webster) also see The Boy in White on From. Since he appears outside Colony House and in the forest surrounding the town, it's possible that he can't leave this area, either. Ethan is an interesting character because he might be close in age to The Boy in White and he has his own ideas about the strange setting. As Ethan says:

Victor is shocked by the ghostly appearance of The Boy in White when he's a kid in the 1970s. When Ethan moves into Colony House, he looks outside and the Boy in White is there, making a shushing sound. Victor and Ethan bond over The Boy in White, who is like something out of a horror movie based on a children's story. Victor realizes that he wasn't having a nightmare and that there really is a strange figure around Colony House.

Several fans have theories about The Boy in White on From. Redditor @svengonsven thinks that he is a force for good and wrote:

"I believe he is a good/benevolent entity and has helped both Victor and Ethan, and now Sarah as well."

Another Redditor posted in the From SubReddit and shared that The Boy in White could be evil:

"My theory is that the boy and adult are responsible for bringing people to the town and the talismans. I think the monsters are actually just previous attempts to bring people to help that failed and they are now corrupted/victims of the red figures and whatever it is they worship/serve."

Vox Smith was interviewed on DrewTube about playing The Boy in White on From, who is as well-crafted as several horror movie kid characters. When asked what he would like to know about his character, he said:

"What am I? Am I a ghost? Am I human? My mom tells me about these stories... Some people think that I'm the devil and I shapeshift in this form as a boy and I'm trying to manipulate the town into thinking I'm good... But, you know, maybe. You never know."

Smith continued that since The Boy in White on From can "disappear," he must have supernatural powers. Fans of From are curious to learn more about The Boy in White when From comes back for season 3.

After season 1 of From ended, Harold Perrineau gave an interview to Variety and shared that he was told that season 2 of From would be even scarier. He said:

"The only thing that they’ve said to me is that the monsters in Season 1 are just the beginning. That the horrors are worse. And if there’s something worse than these flesh-devouring, leave-your-face-on-but-eat-your-insides monsters, it’s going to be a creepy couple of years."

Since season 2 was even more unnerving than season 1, there's no doubt that season 3 of From will include eerie characters like the Boy in White and, hopefully, give fans a few more answers.
