MGM's series From, provided sci-fi fans with an endless Lost-style mystery that, just like Severance, took them on a never-ending maze week after week due to its mysterious plotline and sinister twists. As the wait for From Season 4's release date continues after Season 3's unnerving cliffhanger, it looks like a new filming update has come from one of the show's stars, but fans really aren't happy with one apparent problematic issue.

The narrative of From follows random strangers who, after unsuccessfully trying to find a way out of a rural village, find themselves banding together as the town is surrounded by a frightening forest that comes alive at night with flesh-eating monsters who terrorize the residents. Looking to adjust to their horrific circumstances, rules have been implemented in the town, and for those who disobey them, it's out into the cruel night they must go, where there is no return. Season three of From ended with a mind-bending finale, and now fans want to know what's next for Tabitha and Jade. Even though it's been mostly quiet on the From season 4 news front recently, one of the show's cast members seems to tease that season 4 is now filming, but that's not enough for some impatient fans.

From Star Teases Season 4 Is Currently Filming in Social Post

From Season 4

In a post on Instagram, Elizabeth Saunders, who plays Donna in MGM's From TV show, has teased fans that season 4 is currently underway by revealing that they are "heading to town for a while", which is in reference to the mysterious town From is set in. According to reports in March, From season 4 was set to begin filming in the summer of 2025 in Nova Scotia, which means that the returning season will be filmed in the same location as its previous seasons, so this information aligns well with Saunders' recent IG post since it's now the summer.

Previously, From's executive producer Jeff Pinkner and creator John Griffin gave an update on season 4’s expected release window, stating that they were “wildly hopeful that it will be on the air in 2025,” but that an early 2026 was more likely, so the production update seems to line up with this date, and they are seemingly on track for a 2026 release. However, fans of the show are complaining about how long it is taking for the next installment to release. "I'm tired of these new shows releasing every two years," remarked one fan in a Reddit post sharing Saunders' great news for season 4. "Having to wait more than a year for another ten episodes that will leave us on a cliffhanger is not very fun," expressed another, while one more eager commenter said, "The wait is too long to the point where the suspense easily dies off."

In the bright light of reality, From season 2 only came to an end in September 2024, a mere 9 months ago, so knowing that they are very likely filming right now, it really isn't that long to wait compared to other shows as the series will likely release sometime at the start of 2026. Compared to shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm, which had a six-year gap between seasons 8 and 9, Stranger Things, with gaps ranging from one to three years between seasons, and Severance seasons 1 and 2 having almost three years of waiting time, From season 4 is doing pretty well for itself considering.

While in wait mode for season 4, From Season 3 is currently available to stream on NOW, Sky, and the MGM+ Amazon Channel.
