There's no doubt that Forza Horizon 2 has been a popular entry in Microsoft Studios and Playground Games' long-running racing simulation series, as the title received a bevy of positive post-launch reviews from both fans and critics alike. With this being the case, fans who have yet to pick up the game might want to do so soon, as Playground Games has now announced that it is going to be delisted at the end of next month.

With Forza Horizon 2 to be delisted relatively soon, it's worth noting that the racing game can get it now for free on Xbox One by way of Microsoft's Games with Gold program for August 2018 alongside Ubisoft's hack-and-slash fighting game For Honor. What's more is that some of the sports title's DLC is on sale right now, so those who want all that the game has to offer can do so for a price that's less expensive than usual.

All things considered, while some racing game fans may be sad to see Forza Horizon 2 reaching its "end of life" status after having been available since 2014, at least they can rest easy knowing that Microsoft Studios and Playground Games have Forza Horizon 4 on the way this October. As a matter of fact, interested parties can already get a heads up on what vehicles are going to be included thanks to a car list leak that hit the Web not too long ago.

Forza Horizon 2 is available now for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but will be delisted on September 30, 2018.
