All Fortnite X-Wing Locations

Fortnite: Galactic Battle may just be the biggest season yet, filled to the brim with Star Wars content as the popular franchise collides with Fortnite once again. In this season, players can become their own Jedi by wielding Lightsabers, getting hold of unique blasters, and battling their way to a Victory Royale across a range of different locations.

While additions to the loot pool are the highlight of this season, Star Wars fans may be happy to learn that they can also pilot iconic spacecraft from the franchise. While TIE Fighters are in the game, those who want to join the Resistance may prefer to pilot an X-Wing and take it into battle. Here is where to find X-Wings in Fortnite.

Where To Find X-Wings In Fortnite

X-Wings are one of two flyable vehicles players can pilot in Fortnite: Galactic Battle. They can primarily be found in Resistance-controlled areas across the map.

Key locations include the Resistance Base and Outpost Enclav e, as well as various Resistance Outposts—notably south of Flooded Frogs, northwest of Brutal Boxcars, and near The Bird restaurant just south of the Resistance Base.

How To Fly X-Wings In Fortnite

To fly an X-Wing, players can approach the vehicle and enter it using the interact button, much like they would with any other vehicle. Upon doing so, they will be granted access to the following controls to fly the X-Wing, which have been broken down below:

Throttle Up: W / Up on the analog stick
Throttle Down: S / Down on the analog stick
Land (When Close to the Ground): Q / RB / R1
Boost: Left Shift / LS / L3
Fire: Left Mouse Click / RT / R2
Free Look: Right Mouse Click / LT / L2
Switch Seat: Left Ctrl / RS / R3
Exit (Hold): E / X / Square
Music On/Off: B / Down on the D-Pad

The X-Wing, much like any other vehicle, uses fuel and has a limited amount of health that totals 1,050. Unlike most other vehicles, when the health of the X-Wing reaches zero, it will be inactive for a few short moments, recharging its health to be used once again. However, if the X-Wing's health is depleted a second time, it will be destroyed. The weapons the X-Wing has on board also deal 60 damage per hit and dish out splash damage, making them pretty effective at taking down opponents on the ground.

How To Complete The Destroy Structures With X-Wing's Weapons Found Quest

While many players might hop into X-Wings just for the thrill of dogfights and fun, there’s actually a Found Quest tied to the vehicle. By visiting the Resistance Base and speaking to Poe Dameron, players can accept a quest that tasks them with destroying structures using X-Wing weapons.

To complete it, simply find an X-Wing and destroy 25 structures with its onboard weapons. Once finished, players will earn 30,000 XP upon heading back to Poe Dameron and speaking to him a second time—perfect for leveling up the Galactic Battle Battle Pass. They can also claim a free Legendary A280-CFE Blaster from him upon completion.

Players can also complete an Embrace The Light Alignment Quest right from the get-go, giving players the objective of traveling a distance of 5,000 meters with the X-Wing, rewarding players with an additional 3,000 XP.
