Fortnite x LEGO: Release Date

As of now, there is no official announcement regarding the release date. However, such insiders as HYPEX, BeastFnCreative, and SplushFNBR have hinted that the crossover might be released on December 7, 2023. Epic Games has been testing the map for the new mode for several months, so if everything goes according to plan, the crossover will appear at the beginning of Chapter 5.

Fortnite x LEGO: Everything Known So Far

In April 2022, the partnership between Epic Games and LEGO Group was officially announced, marking an exciting collaboration between Fortnite and the renowned LEGO. This collaboration holds immense potential for both parties, considering the huge size of their respective audiences.

Specifically, Fortnite players can look forward to a captivating game mode inspired by Minecraft and Lego Worlds. This mode will allow fans to unleash their creativity by building with LEGO bricks, crafting various items, using weapons, and embarking on exciting adventures in a LEGO-themed world.

Here is what is known - thanks to insiders - about the new LEGO mode in Fortnite:

In the new mode, players will play as a LEGO figure.
Emotions have been redesigned specifically for Minifigures.
Players can mine ores and props across the game map and create items using the Building tool, which has 9 slots.
HP System and Energy System will be introduced.
Sleeping on a bed will be available to restore HP and Energy.
Vendors will be scattered throughout the game map, where players can buy various items.
Here are the Emotions/Reactions that will be available in the new mode: Sad, Surprised, Worried, Excited, Disgusted, Bored, Angry, Afraid, Laughing (Default, Subdued & Extreme), Greeting (Default, Bored, Excited), Give Item, Take Item, Disagreement, Celebrating, Admiring.
Movement in the new mode will not change, and this is what players will be able to do while moving: Sliding, Swimming, Gliding, Flying, Running, Walking, Falling (with Fall Damage).

According to this statement, Epic Games and LEGO Group are committed to creating a fun and immersive metaverse for fans of both companies, with the main goal of making their metaverse child and family-friendly.
