This new week in Fortnite sees players completing a variety of tasks, including eliminating opponents with legendary weapons, landing in different named locations, and searching between ski lodges. And, per usual, once a player has completed all of this, they will be able to hunt down a hidden item. It also appears that season 7 is following the alternating banner/battle star pattern of season 6, so this means players will be able to find a hidden battle star after completing the week 3 challenges.
Fortnite players can discern the location of the season 7 week 3 battle star by taking a close look at the image above. In the leftmost bunker, players can see the outline of a battle star, just above the head of the runway worker. This area is easily identifiable as the new Frosty Flights area, so players will want to drop here to pick up their free Battle Pass Tier.
Of course, the easiest method is to drop here from the Battle Bus and avoid combat until picking up the Battle Star. But to make the search quicker, Fortnite players should focus their attention toward the back of the bunker. They will see a metal shelf there, which is where the Battle Star will appear.
Interestingly enough, Frosty Flights has been a bit of a hotspot thus far for season 7 battle stars and banners. As many may recall, the week 1 hidden battle star was located on a submarine just outside of Frosty Flights, and the week 2 hidden banner was in an office in Frosty Flights. Whether this Fortnite trend continues or not, it's nice to see the newly added biome being at the fore of attention.
With that said, though, the entire battle island could soon become a winter biome, as a recent leak from the v7.10 update showed a snow-covered map. If so, the remainder of the season will definitely be something to see, but in the meantime, players have plenty of challenges to complete.
Fortnite is available now in early access for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
