Fortnite Winterfest 2023 brings players several holiday-themed challenges and quests to complete and earn XP while leveling up. Some of these challenges require players to collect loot and defeat bosses like Krampus, while others task players with finding new landmarks. One popular quest in Winterfest 2023 is “Ship It! The Crackshot Cabin is located on the Floating Loot Island in Fortnite. It’s a small house covered in snow at the center of the island. The floating island usually spawns late in the game after the fourth storm warning, so players must survive long enough to find and visit it. In most cases, the island appears when there are 15 or fewer players remaining.

How to Get to Crackshot’s Cabin

Once the floating island spawns in Fortnite, you will receive a map marker on your screen indicating its arrival. Head over to the marked location, but you must be within 100 meters of the island to see the map marker on your screen. The floating island is tethered to the ground with gravitational cables. Once you arrive at its location, use these cables to rope up to the island.

In some cases, you may need to build stairs or floors to reach the gravitational cables, especially if the island spawns on a higher terrain. Once on the island, head to the center to find the cabin. Entering the Crackshot Cabin completes the “Ship It! Express Snapshot” Winterfest 2023 quest. You can look around the cabin for valuable loot or weapons to use in the game. Remember, you may not be the only player completing this quest, making it vital to be alert and ready to engage opponents.

Some players have reported not being able to find the Crackshot Cabin even with few players remaining in the game. Epic Games was aware of this bug and is working on resolving it to ensure the island spawns after the fourth storm. However, if you still can't find the cabin, you can try switching game modes to solos and quads, where the island appears more consistently. Alternatively, you can team up with friends to increase your chances of finding the island.
