Fortnite: Update v28.30 Release Time

Each Fortnite season players aim to complete the Battle Pass so that they can unlock every cosmetic available as well as all the V-Bucks it includes. The Fortnite Week 12 Weekly Quests won't come out on February 20 as previously scheduled. This unexpected delay might take some players by surprise. Thankfully, this article will tell players when they can expect the Week 12 Quests to release in Fortnite and explain why they didn't come out as intended.

Week 12 Quests Release Time

Fortnite tends to be pretty consistent with its Weekly Quest schedule, but there have been a few occasions during which delays have happened. This happened a couple of weeks ago with the Week 10 quests, and it will happen once again with the Week 12 Quests. Every Tuesday, many players eagerly await the prompt release of the Weekly Quests so that they can rank up their Battle Pass and unlock a few additional rewards, especially considering that the Bonus Rewards tab Super Styles are now available.

According to the in-game Weekly Quests countdown, Fortnite Week 12 Quests will become available on Thursday, February 22 at 9 AM ET.

Why Are the Week 12 Weekly Quests Being Delayed?

Even though Epic Games did not confirm the reason behind the delay, it is most likely due to the release of the v28.30 update - just like what happened with the launch of the TMNT event update. The Fortnite community initially expected update 28.30 to come out on Tuesday as usual, but now it is believed that it will only go live on Thursday, as the Fortnite Festival Pass renews on February 22.

If fan speculation is correct, downtime for update v28.30 will start at 4 AM on Thursday, so that the upcoming Fortnite Festival season can go live within a few hours. Then, the Weekly Quests should become available at 9 AM ET on the same day.
