According to the Battle Pass page, players can continue to make progress until 2 PM ET. So, they have until then to play Battle Royale and other game modes. At 2 PM ET, the Death Star Sabotage live event will start. It is unknown how long it will last, but once it's over, downtime will begin. Therefore, Fortnite Galactic Battle ends immediately after the Death Star Sabotage live event, which begins at 2 PM ET on June 7.

Even though it is expected for it to begin a few hours after the end of the live event and the start of downtime, it is highly unusual for a Fortnite season to start late into the game.

At the moment, gamers can expect to be able to play Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 later in the day on June 7, but this may be a major patch, and downtime could last until June 8.
