When Does Downtime for the Fortnite Summer Update Begin?

Epic Games has confirmed that update for v36.10 will begin on June 18, 2025, at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM BST. As usual, matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes to the start of downtime so gamers have enough time to finish their final matches, but they won't be able to enter a match after 3:30 AM ET.
When Does Downtime End in Fortnite? (June 18, 2025, Update)
Update v36.10 will introduce a significant amount of content to Fortnite, such as new Battle Royale and LEGO Fortnite game modes, so the patch size will probably be fairly large. Downtime tends to take anywhere between two to four hours as long as there are no inconveniences. Realistically, players can expect to jump back into Fortnite around 6 AM to 8 AM ET.
