Fortnite Super has been a fun ride, especially for DC fans, as it featured some of their favorite characters as skins and even their weapons. However, Chapter 6 Season 3 has been live since the start of June, and its end is now closer than ever. Battle Royale isn't the only game mode with an imminent season finale; gamers will soon receive new seasons of Fortnite OG and LEGO Fortnite.

Fortnite's newest live event for Chapter 6 Season 3 sees Superman and other heroes battle with villainy in Super Showdown!

This article tells players what they need to know about the start of the upcoming seasons of Battle Royale, Fortnite OG, and LEGO Fortnite, all of which will be starting simultaneously.

When Does Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 End?

Chapter 6 Season 3 End Date

Chapter 6 Season 3 is scheduled to end on Thursday, August 7, 2025. The in-game Battle Pass page mentions that the Battle Royale, Fortnite OG, and LEGO Fortnite passes are available until 1:30 AM ET. So, even though downtime has not been confirmed, it is likely that it will begin at 1:30 AM ET on August 7.

Matchmaking is usually disabled half an hour prior to the start of downtime. Therefore, players can expect to enter the last match around 1:00 AM ET.

When Does Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 Start?

Chapter 6 Season 4 Start Date

Chapter 6 Season 4 will also begin on Thursday, August 7, 2025. The patch data will be uploaded during downtime, so players can then install the new season update and jump into Chapter 6 Season 4 as soon as servers are back up.

It is unknown how long downtime will last, but since this is a major patch, as it will add content for three separate game mode passes, players should expect to be unable to play Fortnite for at least 4 hours. Fans should be able to play the new season around 6-7 AM ET. This season should be major lore-wise, as it will be the final season in Chapter 6.
