The Walking Dead x Fortnite sees the famed zombie universe from Skybound crossover into the Battle Royale with its metaverse, providing players with ample opportunities to create and enjoy distinct modes inspired by and created from The Walking Dead assets. The Walking Dead x Fortnite might not involve itself with the Battle Royale experience, but there are some fun game modes and weapons involved.
Fortnite: How to Get Negan from The Walking Dead
Negan and Lucille make their way to Fortnite's Item Shop, providing The Walking Dead fans with one of its fiercest monsters that isn't a zombie.
The Walking Dead experiences in Fortnite feature fun modes and distinct mythic weapons not found anywhere else, so if players want to try their luck at surviving the undead and swinging Negan's baseball bat, Lucile, then knowing how to jump right into them is a must.
How to Play The Walking Dead Islands in Fortnite
Any player can access The Walking Dead content in Fortnite by heading in-game and entering the playlists category on the main Play screen. Below the Epic Games created events, players will find the Games Collection tab, which involves games built from popular collaborations. The Walking Dead Universe features as one of these sections, alongside Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, LEGO Fortnite, and Fall Guys. After selecting The Walking Dead Universe, players will be in a new tab with a bundle of different game modes to choose from, all of which count towards The Walking Dead's collab.
There is a distinction between fan-created maps and official maps in The Walking Dead Universe. Players can check the author of the maps available, and anything by Skybound and Epic Games is official, whereas any other names are player-created experiences. Players should try out both the official and unofficial modes, as each of them has been created from assets made available within The Walking Dead collab to provide a thrilling and varied experience, from wave-based survival to king of the hill modes, involving plenty of PvE, PvP, and even PvPvE.
The zombies, Shiva Shotgun, and Lucille are exclusive to The Walking Dead Universe and cannot be obtained outside of created experiences.
