With Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 officially underway, players have plenty of new content to discover on the island. The new "Vibin'" season introduces new weapons, locations, POIs, and more. The new Fortnite season also introduces Tover Tokens, a new customization item players can collect from around the map.
The previous season of Epic Games' massively played battle royale shooter went out with a cinematic bang. Players got to experience the "COLLISION" season end event, which had squads of four piloting the colossal Mecha Strike Commander (the giant bear robot) to destroy Dr. Slone and the IO's Collider machine.
Where to Find Tover Tokens at Sleepy Sound
For those who've yet to figure out how exactly Tover Tokens work, they're somewhat similar to the Omni Chips of last season, except tokens at a specific POI unlock a specific body part, instead making it closer aligned to the Toona Fish colors from Chapter 2 Season 8.
Sleepy Sound is normally a fairly tame named location, but it helps to have a Tover Token-collecting strategy nonetheless.
- Tover Token 1: The first Tover Token found in Sleepy Sound is located in the southwestern region of the area. The token will be along the Nom shop's eastern wall.
- Tover Token 2: Players can find the next Tover Token over at Fish Sticks' restaurant, where it will be located in the western corner of the establishment's outdoor patio.
- Tover Token 3: The only Tover Token appearing on the northern half of the POI, players can grab the last one very easily, as it's sitting in the middle of the street.
Once players have collected all three Tover Tokens at Sleepy Sound, they will unlock Trashblaster, a mechanical-looking arm outfitted with spikes. Should players decide to stick to their token-collecting objective for the match, there are several other Tover Tokens at The Ruins, a landmark found to the southeast. While a bit of a trek to get there, Fortnite has enacted a few different ways to get around the map.
Considering the direct path from Sleepy Sound to The Ruins goes directly through The Daily Bugle, a usual hotbed of activity, it may be wise to find a more efficient method of travel than on foot.
Thankfully the new season has given players multiple ways to be mobile. Firstly, Ballers have returned the map, albeit with a set charge that depletes over time. The other travel method is a new one, which allows players to ride Fortnite's wolves and boars by jumping on top of them.
Dedicated players who want to keep the collecting spree going can continue on south towards the Tover Tokens at Seven Outpost 7.
Between the numerous token locations, totaling over a dozen in the first week alone, and the various new places and items, this summer looks to be a busy one for Fortnite players.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
