Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 is a superhero-themed season of epic proportions, taking players to a variety of unique POIs and granting access to a wide range of unique hero items. While most of the hero items and characters introduced in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 are original, Superman joins the lineup in a recent update. How to Get the Superman Mythic in Fortnite
Unlike the various Mythics dropped from bosses or the few that can be found in Academy Tech Labs, the Superman's Call Mythic does not spawn in a fixed location. Instead, it drops randomly during the first storm phase and currently has a 50 percent spawn rate in both Battle Royale and Zero Build playlists.
If players are in a match where Superman's Call spawns, a notification will appear indicating that it is dropping in. Its location will then be permanently marked on both the map and the compass for players to track. From there, players can head to the marked location and run through the item to pick it up. Doing so triggers an animation where the player transforms into Superman, blasting into the sky and gaining access to several powerful abilities.
Generally, the item's spawn locations are concentrated at the center of the map, so to get a head start on other players, try landing at the following locations to be close to it when it drops:
- Foxy Floodgate
- Brutal Boxcarts
- Pumped Power
- Utopia City
- The mountain between the previous locations
Much like the Godzilla form from Chapter 6 Season 1, only one person in a game can be Superman at a time. However, if players take down Superman, the players who dish out damage will have a chance of receiving the Surging Speed Boon, with the progress towards said Boon being tracked just below Superman's health bar. The Surging Speed Boon allows the player to sprint faster and consume less stamina, with their speed being increased further at S Rank.
How to Use the Superman Mythic in Fortnite
The Superman's Call Mythic grants players a variety of unique abilities that replace their standard weapons. Once activated, players remain in their Superman form until their health is fully depleted, which typically lasts around five minutes of game time as long as they avoid taking damage.
The available abilities are as follows:
- Takeoff / Ascend (Jump Button): Activates flight or propels the player upward while already flying.
- Descend (Crouch Button): Lowers altitude while flying.
- Fast Flying (Sprint Button): Increases flight speed.
- Heat Vision (Fire Button): Fires a laser beam that deals rapid tick damage. Enters a short cooldown after each use.
- Super Punch (Aim Button): Launches the player forward, dealing 400 damage upon impact with a player or object. Enters a short cooldown after each use.
