While Darth Vader is not known for his musical talent, it seems that the AI version of the Sith Lord found in Fortnite can be teased and tricked into singing a few tunes in the iconic voice of James Earl Jones, but only through very specific sets of movies and songs.
Where to Find AI Darth Vader in Fortnite (& How to Speak with Him)
Darth Vader has arrived as an AI NPC that players can speak to with their voices to hear responses from the iconic Sith Lord.
If players want to make AI Darth Vader sing in Fortnite, then they are going to have to enable their mic and prepare to get rather specific with their request, as well as attempt to trick Darth Vader into willingly fulfilling said request, as he can be a stubborn Sith Lord in Star Wars x Fortnite: Galactic Battle.
How to Make AI Darth Vader Sing in Fortnite
Since the Darth Vader that players can speak to in Fortnite uses AI, it remains rather monotone and static in conversation, thus there isn't much of a singing voice to be heard from the deep boom of the iconic Sith Lord. However, fans can attempt to get AI Darth Vader to sing by asking for Star Wars or Disney songs. For instance, if players ask Darth Vader to "play Let it Go from Frozen," then Darth Vader will begin to read the lyrics, and players can get him to sing the entire song if they ask, and he feels like he is in the mood to indulge in such a request. Players can repeat this with other Disney songs from their favorite Disney movies, but Darth Vader might not indulge every request, or know every song, nor should they expect vocal talent.
Players can also get Darth Vader to hum Star Wars themes, but the response is more digital "do-do-dos", so it's hard to actually hear the melody of the requested tune. Darth Vader may occasionally be asked to "play Duel of the Fates" and other Star Wars tracks, and he will simply respond with "*Plays Duel of the Fates*" but no music can be heard.
It's not possible to trick Darth Vader into singing songs that are not related to Disney or Star Wars, as he will often say no in a snarky way, even if players try to manipulate him with ultimatums and by saying that Emperor Palpatine demands it.
