The long-rumored Fortnite x Simpsons crossover has been officially confirmed, along with a live event on November 1 that will presumably kick the new mini-season off in style. Fortnite has had countless crossovers over the last seven years, encompassing all corners of the pop-culture world, from Star Wars and Marvel to Dragon Ball Z and Doja Cat, but this Simpsons collaboration has been anticipated for years.
Fortnite's very first crossover occurred in May 2018, coinciding with the release of Avengers: Infinity War. Since then, a plethora of movies, TV shows, animes, musical artists, and fellow video games have been given a chance to shine in Fortnite's virtual world, most often as a selection of paid skins. But every so often, Fortnite will let one franchise take and hold the spotlight for a little longer, and that seems to be the case with Fortnite's upcoming Simpsons collaboration.
Fortnite's Simpsons Crossover Season Begins on November 1
The official Simpsons X account has just posted a short 10-second teaser trailer showing the iconic aliens Kang and Kodos flying above a decimated cartoon battlefield, blasting Fortnite's Fishstick with laser beams, and tractor-beaming Simpson-ified versions of Jonesy and Hope up into their flying saucer. The caption attached to the teaser reads, "Kang and Kodos have arrived in Fortnite with a message for all of you humans, be sure to tune in-game on Nov 1 at 11AM ET."
A Fortnite x Simpsons collaboration has been on the cards for years now, but the rumor mill really started to pick up speed back in June of this year when @Loolo_WRLD and @Egyptian_Leaker claimed that a Fortnite Chapter 6 mini-season would revolve around the beloved cartoon family. Speculation reached a fever pitch last week, with several high-profile Fortnite leakers claiming that the long-awaited Simpsons crossover was finally coming on November 1.

It certainly seems like that's going to be the case now, with this official teaser trailer all but confirming that a Fortnite x Simpsons live event is set to take place on November 1 at 11am ET, one that will likely usher in the rumored Simpsons mini-season. It's important to note, however, that Epic Games still hasn't provided any official details on what the Fortnite x Simpsons crossover will contain. But if recent leaks are to be believed, then fans can expect to see skins based on Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart, Ned, Moe, Krusty, and more, as well as map POIs based on Springfield, and new mechanics like dangerous donut rain.
