Summary

  • Another set of Jujutsu Kaisen skins has been rumored for Fortnite, including Ryomen Sukuna.
  • Fans speculate how Sukuna's powers will be represented in the game.
  • Reactions from fans have been mixed regarding potential new Jujutsu Kaisen skins in Fortnite.

More Jujutsu Kaisen skins may be coming to Fortnite in the near future if a popular leaker's claims turn out to be true. Fortnite is well-known for bringing in crossover characters, including those who saw their origins in anime and manga, and this latest claim states that a very powerful jujutsu sorcerer is on the way.

For fans of the battle royale who may not be familiar with the source material, Jujutsu Kaisen is a shonen manga by Gege Akutami that got its start in 2018 and centers around a high school student who joins a secret order of jujutsu sorcerers. The Jujutsu Kaisen manga reached a major milestone less than a month ago, selling its 100 millionth copy. An anime adaptation of the manga kicked off in 2020, and by 2024, was recognized by Guinness as the world's most in-demand animated show.

Fortnite’s Next Big Marvel Villain Could Fill a Void Left by the MCU

Fortnite has hosted several big Marvel crossovers, and the short life of one MCU villain could be resurrected in the next team-up.

By

The first Jujutsu Kaisen crossover in Fortnite took place in August 2023. That crossover even brought in skins for Yuji Itadori, Satoru Gojo, Nobara Kugisaki, and Megumi Fushiguro, as well as a variety of back blings, pickaxes, sprays, and other cosmetic items. Now, leaker ShiinaBR has shared a rumor via Twitter that another set of Jujutsu Kaisen skins is on the way to Fortnite. Although previous leaks have predicted new skins over the course of the past year, this leaker states that new information has revealed an entirely different set of skins, including one for the undisputed king of curses, Ryomen Sukuna.

Fortnite Leaker Predicts New Jujutsu Kaisen Skins

If the rumor is true, it's not yet clear how Fortnite would represent the powers of Sukuna in the game, or what other characters from Jujutsu Kaisen may be on the way. Fans have been offering mixed reactions to the rumor, with fans of the anime and manga wishing for specific characters, such as Maki Zenin and Yuta Okkotsu. Others seem disappointed with the rumored news, upset that Fortnite may be going back to a property it's already held a crossover with in the past in favor of bringing in new collaborative possibilities.

Jujutsu Kaisen isn't the only animated show that currently has the Fortnite rumor mill's attention. A little over a week ago, rumors of a King of the Hill crossover in Fortnite surfaced, potentially bringing Mike Judge's Arlen, Texas-based characters to the battle royale game. There isn't much solid information associated with that rumor either, though many fans are expecting to see Hank Hill added to Fortnite's roster soon.
