As with many live service games, such as Destiny 2, Fortnite is currently in the middle of a special, limited time event called No Sweat Summer. Running from July 21 to August 9, Fortnite players can partake in multiple quests as they become a member of the No Sweat Insurance street team. Quest lines include business themed tasks like Sponsorship, Marketing, and Product Recall, while Epic has also added Rebuild the Block Quests, where the community can donate gold bars to their favorite fan-made designs for how to (again) rebuild Tilted Towers.

Special quests are also constantly being added, ranging from racing boats southeast of the Daily Bugle, dancing in certain locations, carrying signs, and other summer-themed activities. As part of the Marketing related special quests this week, Fortnite players are tasked with finding unique doorbells around the island and ringing them until they break. Here's where to go.

Door Bell Locations

For better or worse, there are only four locations that feature doorbells that can be broken to satisfy the requirements of this quest: Greasy Grove, Coney Crossroads, The Shell/High Water landmark, and Puddle Pond landmark.

What Fortnite doesn't tell players is that they don't need to find or ring a bell in every location. In fact, only three need to be broken, though fans can certainly visit the same location in three games if they don't want to try and find all three in one match. Unfortunately, if another player gets to a doorbell first and breaks it, it is unavailable for the rest of the match, so it is a first come, first served style mission.

Here are the specific location details:

  1. Greasy Grove - Greasy Grove is a main residential zone on the map and as such, has two doorbells that can be broken. The first can be found on a blue, two-story house near the center of the zone. The second home can be found in the northeast corner and is the color yellow.
  2. Coney Crossroads - Almost right in the middle of the map is the other residential area known as Coney Crossroads. There are two houses in the Northeast section of the town that have doorbells that can be broken.
  3. The Shell/High Water Landmark - Towards the north part of the map to the northeast of Logjam Lumberyard, there is a doorbell at the front entrance of this landmark's white mansion.
  4. Puddle Pond Landmark - A home can be found as the small pond landmark south of Coney Crossroads and the distance between Tilted Towers and Sanctuary.

How To Break Doorbells

With the difficult part of the quest now done, players will need to ring them until they break. Once in front of the doorbell, players simply need to interact with it using the reload button, which will then cause it to spark and smoke, indicating that it has been broken.

Unlike some other No Sweat Summer quests which award cosmetic gear, Fortnite players are rewarded with 15,000 XP once three have been broken.
