Epic Games has given Fortnite players a first look at the free rewards they'll be able to claim during 2025's Summer Road Trip event, which launches on July 22 at 9 AM ET. In addition to outlining what players can expect from the Summer Road Trip event, Epic Games revealed an upcoming collaboration between Fortnite and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which is scheduled to release in theaters on July 25. The crossover features four new skins that will be arriving in the Item Shop alongside the film, though players will have a chance to earn the skins for free by participating in a Fantastic Four Cup. As of writing, Fortnite has not revealed how much the cosmetics will cost or if they will be offered as part of a bundle.

In a recent post on Twitter, Epic Games revealed that players will soon be able to earn free rewards as a part of Fortnite's Summer Road Trip, which will become available on July 22 at 9 AM ET. The Summer Road Trip has become a popular recurring event, which previously offered players the opportunity to earn a free Cybertruck in Fortnite. Every day between July 22 and July 28, gamers will gain access to a new quest. These quests will alternate between earning XP with friends in "by Epic" experiences and creator-made experiences. Players looking to claim all the rewards will need to act fast, as the Summer Road Trip is scheduled to end on August 7 at 2 AM ET.

For many players, the most exciting reward is a cosmetic bundle that will allow them to apply a new skin to sports cars in Fortnite.
