Fortnite's Reload game mode takes the battle royale formula and puts a different spin on it. While there are fewer players in each match, they can reboot a few times up until a certain point in the match, but they will lose their loot if they're eliminated and come back.
All Weapons in Fortnite Reload
Fortnite Reload sees the return of all sorts of weapons, both famous and infamous in their design.
Gamers can play Fortnite Reload on a few different maps, but they're not available all at once. If players want to try a specific map, then they must be familiar with the game mode's timetable. Otherwise, they may find themselves waiting without knowing when it'll become available. This guide provides useful information on the Fortnite Reload map rotation schedule so gamers know when their favorite map is available.
Fortnite Reload Map Rotation, Explained
When Fortnite Reload came out, its only map was the revamped version of the Chapter 1 island. At the time, the OG game mode was not available, so this was the only way players were able to revisit their favorite locations from the OG map. Eventually, Fortnite OG came out, and it became a permanent game mode, so Epic Games also had to come up with new ideas for Reload. Therefore, Reload evolved and received additional maps for gamers to play on.
If fans were able to choose which one to play at all times, matchmaking would take longer, as player count would be divided between all available maps. With maps always on rotation, Epic Games ensures that there are always plenty of players.
At the time of writing, there are three Fortnite Reload maps. Map rotation takes place every 20 minutes, so each map is available once per hour.
When Can I Play Each Reload Map in Fortnite?
