Fortnite created a smaller version of the Chapter 1 map for the Reload game mode, and it was a success. Players loved being able to land in their favorite locations again, pick up OG weapons, and blast through their enemies. In this game mode, teams will automatically respawn unless the entire team is wiped out or reboot is disabled, which only happens later on in the game.
Fortnite Reload: 6 Tips and Tricks To Win
Hopefully, with these helpful tips and tricks, players will have a better chance at returning to the lobby with a victory crown in Fortnite Reload.
Players can now experience this hectic feeling in the first-ever Fortnite Reload Cup. The cup will start very soon, so here is everything players need to know before they hop into Fortnite for the competition.
Fortnite Reload Cup Time & Date
Epic Games will be testing the waters with its first Fortnite tournament set in the Reload game mode. So, gamers who want to participate in the Fortnite Reload Cup only have one chance to get in.
The Fortnite Reload Cup takes place on Thursday, August 1, 2024. In North America, the Fortnite Reload Cup starts at 5:30 PM EST, and in Europe, it starts at 4:30 PM CEST.
- NA region - Reload Cup Date & Time: August 1, 2024, at 5:30 PM EST
- EU region - Reload Cup Date & Time: August 1, 2024, at 4:30 PM CEST
Unfortunately, only players in NA and EU regions will be able to enter the Reload Cup in Fortnite. However, if it all goes well, and it proves to be a success more tournaments are sure to take place in the future.
Fortnite Reload Cup Rules & Rewards
There will be two Reload Cups taking place at the same time; players can participate in the standard Battle Royale Reload Cup or the Zero Build Reload Cup instead. Both competitions will be available for squads, meaning that players should find themselves a team of four players, and they will last a total of two hours.
During the two hours of the Reload Cup in Fortnite, players can enter a maximum of seven games. The Fortnite Reload Cup doesn't include any rewards, as this is simply a test to see if fans are interested in a competitive mode for Fortnite Reload.
Since players respawn for most of the game in Fortnite Reload, eliminations are capped in this tournament. Gamers can only earn up to 3 points for eliminating opponents; once they reach 12 eliminations, this number won't go any higher. Here is the point system in the Reload Cup:
- Victory Royale: 15 points
- 2nd place: 10 points
- 3rd place: 8 points
- 4th place: 6 points
- 5th place: 5 points
- 6th place: 4 points
- 7th place: 3 points
- 8th place: 2 points
- 9th place: 1 point
- 4-7 eliminations: 1 point
- 8-11 eliminations: 2 points
- 12 eliminations or higher: 3 points
To participate in the Fortnite Reload Cup, gamers must be at least 13 years old, enable multi-factor authentication (MFA), and their account must be at least at level 15.
