Summary

  • The Reflex has been missing from the Item Shop in Fortnite for 2,000 days, a record in the game's history.
  • ShiinaBR confirms Reflex is the first skin to reach this milestone, with World Warrior close behind.
  • With Epic Games regularly updating the Item Shop, Reflex may return sometime in the future.

A Fortnite fan has highlighted that Reflex has been missing from the Item Shop for 2,000 days. Fortnite features a rotating Item Shop that is regularly updated with new and returning listings, but Reflex hasn't been brought back for a long time.

Since Fortnite battle royale was released, players have purchased unique cosmetics through the Battle Passes and Item Shop. As Epic Games continued to evolve its battle royale, the cosmetics eventually included Star Wars, Marvel, and other major collaborations. Because of this, gamers can often play as their favorite characters from different franchises as they eliminate other players in an effort to become the last person standing. When LEGO Fortnite was released, many of these characters had minifigures representing them, with Epic expanding this support through subsequent updates. Despite all these additions since, one skin hasn't been listed in the Item Shop for 2,000 days.

Well-known Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR recently shared an update on the Reflex skin bundle, confirming that it has been missing from the Item Shop for 2,000 days. According to ShiinaBR, Reflex is the first skin to reach this milestone, and the World Warrior cosmetic is close behind with 1,854 absent days. Before the 2,000-day hiatus, Reflex was featured in a V-bucks bundle that included his Back Bling, Glider, and Pickaxe alongside 2,000 V-bucks. Due to the live service nature of the game, these skins often return to the Item Shop once in a while, with Chapter 1 cosmetics being a prominent feature of Fortnite OG.

Reflex Is Still Missing in the Fornite Item Shop 2,000 Days Later

With 2,000 days nearly equating five and a half years, this skin has been missing for almost as long as Fortnite servers have been online. ShiinaBR is known for leaking content for Fortnite, including the new Doctor Doom skin in the latest season, the recent Fall Guys collaboration, and a Batman crossover event. As skins typically return within the 2,000-day time frame that Reflex has been missing, the skin may return in the future. The Chapter 5 Season 4 Battle Pass is the first one that features characters that may be sold separately in the Item Shop. Despite this, players will still get the best value by progressing through the Battle Pass.

As Epic Games regularly changes the Fortnite Item Shop, Reflex could return in a matter of days. Given how long it has been since the skin appeared, it may continue to raise the bar for being absent from the game, increasing its current record.
