Epic Games is giving away free cosmetic items to active, new, and returning players who decide to team up and give Fortnite another chance. This guide will tell gamers everything they need to know about the Chapter 5 Season 4 Reboot Rally event.
How to Participate in the Reboot Rally
To participate in the Reboot Rally event, players who are active will have to team up with inactive players. Gamers who have played less than two hours of Fortnite in the 30 days prior to September 4, 2024, are considered new or returning players and will only be eligible for this quest if they team up with those who have played for longer than two hours during this time period.
Active players can invite inactive players by finding them in the Friends tab in-game and selecting the Rally 'Em Back option. However, this will only complete one of the Reboot Rally Quests; the other quests require them to play Fortnite together until they earn enough XP or complete enough Daily Quests to unlock event points.

Chapter 5 Season 4 Reboot Rally Rewards
As players earn more points in the Reboot Rally, they'll progressively unlock exclusive cosmetic rewards. These rewards will not be available in the future, so gamers who want to collect as many items as they can to fill up their in-game lockers must act fast before the Chapter 5 Season 4 Reboot Rally comes to an end on September 24, 2024, at 9 AM ET.
