After a bout of leaks and rumors, Epic Games has finally confirmed the anticipated Fortnite crossover with the Power Rangers franchise within an epic live-action trailer. Fortnite is an online battle royale that was released back in 2017, offering several game modes for players to dive into, including Fortnite: Save the World, Fortnite Creative, and Lego Fortnite, and the platform has become one of the greatest and most popular games of all time thanks to the variety and pop culture collaborations on offer.
Fortnite Super just celebrated its Showdown live event within the active Chapter 6 Season 3, and the spectacle even teased what’s lurking in Chapter 6 Season 4. Beginning at Demon’s Domain, the event saw Superman, the Loopers, and the Supernova Academy have their hands full within the epic battle, facing Daigo and an unsettling number of tentacles. While the event didn’t offer much going into Chapter 6 Season 4, the giant tentacles teased what’s growing beneath the Battle Royale island.

Fortnite's Crossover With Power Rangers Officially Announced
Epic Games recently debuted the Bad Bugs vs Power Rangers live-action trailer for Chapter 6 Season 4: Shock ‘N Awesome, announcing the rumored crossover. Players can expect to bag the Mighty Morphin Bundle mid-August when it’s added to the Shop, where Red Ranger, Black Ranger, Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Blue Ranger outfits will be included, as well as the Go Go Power Rangers - Redux Jam Track accessory. Fortnite was rumored to have a Power Rangers crossover back at the end of July, and the same leak also predicted the game would see Peacemaker, Cyborg, and Fantastic Four collaborations in the future.
Power Rangers is an American series based on the Japanese tokusatsu franchise Super Sentai, and Fortnite Battle Pass holders can look forward to completing quests beginning on September 16 to earn a Megazord power-up during the midseason takeover. The Power Rangers franchise boasts several large Mecha, and the Fortnite crossover trailer gave fans an eye-widening look at the Dino Megazord Outfit on offer.
With the battle royale moving swiftly ahead to fans’ excitement, Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4’s start date is in sight. Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 began back on June 7, 2025, and the current season is expected to see its conclusion on Thursday, August 7. This means Season 4 is scheduled to arrive very soon, and players will be busy donning the nostalgic spandex of the Power Rangers in the interim.
