While several multiplayer games have proximity chat, Fortnite has never been among them, but that is about to change with the Party Crashers limited-time game mode. The Party Crashers LTM has been delayed, but it has not been canceled. So, players can still look forward to this game mode arriving in Fortnite very soon.
Fortnite: How to Get the Free De-Rezz De-Stroyer Pickaxe
Players have two weeks to claim the De-Rezz De-Stroyer pickaxe in Fortnite and add it to their account for free.
This guide will tell players what they need to know about the Party Crashers LTM, including when it is expected to go live, how it'll work, and how much XP players can get for completing these quests in Fortnite.
Party Crashers LTM, Explained
Fortnite had already introduced proximity chat through the Creative game mode, but the Party Crashers LTM will be the first time that it'll be available in an official game mode. This is a limited-time mode, so Fortnite will simply be testing the waters in Battle Royale-like game modes. It is unknown if this is a planned feature for major modes, such as BR, Reload, or OG.
For now, what we know about the Party Crashers game mode is the following:
- Party Crashers will be live from September 18 until September 30
- Party Crashers is set in Zero Build
- Up to 80 players can enter a Party Crashers match
- Players can enter new squads in the Party Crashers LTM
