The current season of Fortnite OG was initially scheduled to come to an end on June 8 at 1:30 AM ET. However, Epic Games recently changed the end time of the season for Battle Royale, Fortnite OG, and LEGO Fortnite. As a consequence, each game modes' pass also had its end date moved forward, giving players less time to complete them.

Following the season end date reschedule, Chapter 1 Season 3 of Fortnite OG is now ending on June 7 at 2 PM ET. Since players lost nearly 12 hours of the season thanks to this change, they must try to earn as much XP as they can to level up their Fortnite accounts and complete every pass that they've purchased.

A few days before the end of a season, Epic Games tends to announce when matchmaking will be disabled and downtime will begin so players can plan their playtime accordingly. Then, when the servers go down, it takes a few hours for the update to go live and get them back up again. However, this has usually happened during the early morning hours so that players can wake up, boot up the game, and enjoy the new season.

With the season end reschedule being moved to the afternoon, it is possible that downtime will end late in the evening or at night, but it could even be prolonged and last until the following morning. Therefore, players can expect Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 4 to start on June 7 late into the day or in the morning of June 8.
