Fortnite Season OG has now entered the equivalent of Chapter 1 Season 7, which means players can finally visit the snow biome and use planes on the island. This is a vehicle that truly marked Season 7 back when it was first released, so many fans were eager when they found out that they would be able to try it out once again, and gamers who haven't had the opportunity yet should definitely give it a go before it's vaulted once again.

Where to Find X-4 Stormwings

X-4 Stormwings were added to Fortnite with the v27.10 update on November 16, 2023, and it is likely that they will be around until the end of Season OG.

While plane spawn locations are well-scattered throughout the Chapter 1 map, players will have a better chance of finding one if they head to Frosty Flights, which is located on the southwestern part of the map, north of Snooby Shores. Here are all the possible X-4 Stormwing spawn locations on the Battle Royale map:

How to Control a Plane in Fortnite

Once players have found a plane, they'll need to learn how to use it properly so that they can take advantage of it to take down any enemies they might see on the battlefield. Here are the available control options for the X-4 Stormwing and a video demonstrating how to control it:

Fire
Boost
Roll Left
Roll Right
Switch Seat
Exit

Players can change these controls by accessing Keyboard Controls in Settings and changing the X-4 Stormwing keybinds. However, controller players will be more restricted as the buttons are bound to their Combat and Building controls.

Only one player can control the X-4 Stormwings, but four other gamers can hop on its wings and tail and enjoy the ride as well. However, everyone on the planet must be careful when exiting as it doesn't have a hop rock effect, so unless they have any Gliders on them, they can be eliminated due to fall damage.
