Fortnite fans take to social media to express their displeasure with the battle royale's most recent Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration.

On Twitter, Epic Games teased the return of Midas in Fortnite's Chapter 6 Season 2. Midas has become something of an icon within the battle royale, receiving a wide variety of outfits and edit styles. He often has the ability to turn his weapons into gold without the use of a skin, which is fairly unique within the game. He typically sports a clean-cut look, though this version of Midas is notably different. From what can be seen, the character has longer hair and darker clothing, giving him a more rugged style than usual. Many fans expect that he will be part of the next battle pass, though that remains to be seen.

Midas Is Returning to Fortnite

Another poster in the teaser also shows off a new pickle skin in Fortnite, which has also been teased in Chapter 6 Season 1. As of writing, there's no way of knowing exactly what the full outfit will look like, but leakers seem to believe it's a variant of Peely. The big banana has been a longstanding mascot for the battle royale and has received numerous skins over the years. Leakers have also claimed that the new outfit will be part of Chapter 6 Season 1's upcoming battle pass, though there's no way of knowing for certain. Either way, players will learn more when the pass drops on February 21.

Gamers have also been discussing which crossovers may come to the game next, as leakers have said to expect collaborations with King of the Hill and Like a Dragon in Fortnite soon. Many players are hoping to see a licensed skin appear in the battle pass, similar to how Godzilla and Baymax were included with the pass for Chapter 6 Season 1. With so much content on the way and a new season set to launch soon, many fans are excited about the future of Fortnite.
