Midas Jail Cell Location In Fortnite

The Rise of Midas is a new set of quests featuring in Fortnite's latest era, Chapter 5 Season 2, and allows players the opportunity to investigate the return of Midas, a fan-favorite character that debuted in Chapter 2 Season 2. Midas has been gone for quite some time, but it seems like it's time for him to lay out a golden path, allowing players to earn XP and enjoy the lore behind his triumphant reboot card.

The second stage in the Rise of Midas quest will task players with "Investigate Midas' Jail Cell", which requires 3 steps, all found within very close proximity. Players might want to bring a gun and some shield, as more than a few players might be trying to investigate this area at the same time.

Where To Find Midas' Jail Cell

Players will need to head to The Underworld, located in the northeast of the map. Once inside this POI, players will need to head into Hades' temple, but not to his Olympian Boss room. Instead, players will need to loop around to either side of this boss room and head down the stairs, walking into the center of the room between 4 opposite cages that lead down another smaller set of stairs. From here, players will find a golden door that has been smashed open, and inside, the interactive items to proceed through the quest.

How To Investigate Midas' Jail Cell

Once players have headed inside, they are going to want to investigate 3 aspects of Midas' jail cell to progress the quest. It's a simple process from here on out, and players will simply need to approach three individual aspects of the cell and hold the interact button (Square/X/F) on each one of them. They are easy to locate thanks to the "!" That players can see on each item, but for visual reference, here is what players need:

Investigate Jail Door (the crumpled gold door as players enter the cell)
Investigate Reboot Card (the gold Reboot Card in the center of the cell)
Investigate Cuffs (At the back of the cell, players need to look up and interact with the broken cuffs hanging out of the wall)

Upon completing these three steps, the next stage will unlock, and players will have earned themselves a quick 10,000 XP and further steps to Ascendant Midas.
