Fortnite players have come together to express their desire to see battle passes carry over from season to season, giving gamers the opportunity to earn all the cosmetics they have to offer. Epic Games recently released a full Star Wars mini-season of Fortnite titled Galactic Battle, which has proven to be quite popular with a large portion of the community.
The Galactic Battle season has introduced a wide variety of changes to the popular battle royale, as the usual loot pool has been completely replaced with blasters, lightsabers, and Force powers. Some people are enjoying the new season so much, that they have asked Epic Games to add a permanent Star Wars game mode to Fortnite. The new season has come with a large number of cosmetics as well, such as skins for characters like General Grievous, Emperor Palpatine, Mace Windu, and Darth Jar Jar.
Fortnite Leak Teases New Superman Skin and Mythic Ability
A prominent Fortnite leaker claims that players could soon see a new Superman skin and mythic ability in Epic Games' popular battle royale.
In a recent post on Reddit, TheFlompa expressed their desire to see Fortnite make a major change to the way battle passes function, as they would like the ability to earn additional cosmetics from battle passes they already own. TheFlompa posted an image of numerous skins from battle passes they claim to have purchased but were unable to earn. In their case, they said that they were playing on a laptop that had issues running the popular battle royale. Because of this, TheFlompa was unable to grind out enough levels to earn these rewards during the season in which they appeared. Other gamers were quick to chime in with their own experiences, citing time restraints and other limitations that kept them from completing battle passes they had paid money to purchase.
Fortnite Players Want Battle Passes to Carry Over
This isn't the first time Fortnite players have asked for battle pass changes, as a large portion of the community has been asking Epic Games to make battle passes persistent for quite some time. A lot of people were quick to point out that Marvel Rivals allows players to complete older battle passes by default, giving gamers the opportunity to claim cosmetics they may have missed out on otherwise.
Several people suggested that Epic Games should make it one of the perks that comes with being a subscriber of Fortnite Crew, which gives players access to every battle pass as part of their subscription. Others pointed out that it's possible Epic Games makes a considerable amount of money from players who buy battle pass levels before the end of every season. Creating a battle pass system that carries over from season to season could cut into Epic Games' profits, preventing it from implementing the highly requested feature. Despite a few hiccups and complaints, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
