Players are feeling frustrated by Fortnite's new Magneto quests, though there's a solution to their problems. Epic Games officially rolled out the new Magneto quests and items on July 2, 2024, adding to an already action-packed season with Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked.
Developed by Epic Games, Fortnite has received an immense amount of content updates, improvements, and expansions that have transformed the free-to-play third-person shooter into its own platform. Players will now find entirely new worlds and game modes to enjoy in Fortnite, like Lego Fortnite, Fortnite Festival, and, of course, the game's newest mode, Fortnite Reload. Reload pits multiple teams of three or four against each other on a bite-sized battle royale map. Respawns and reboots are unlimited, meaning players will have to eliminate an entire squad at the same time to win. However, players are also currently wrapped up in Fortnite's new Magneto questline, which some are having a tough time completing.
Fortnite Players Aren’t Happy With Fallout Crossover
Fortnite players are sharing their complaints about the game's recent Fallout crossover, feeling the collaboration didn't quite hit the mark.
Fortnite's new Magneto skin is unlocked by completing a new questline, which some players claim is virtually impossible. Reddit user LostFromLight called the new Magneto tasks "the worst quest ever," with many players agreeing. Most of the Magneto quests are easy to complete, but players are having trouble with the task that requires them to block hits using Magneto Power. Luckily, there's an easy solution for those struggling.
Fortnite Players Frustrated With New Magneto Quest
Though some may assume the quest only tracks incoming damage from enemies, players can actually progress through this quest by blocking friendly fire as well. This means players can easily complete this new quest by playing in team matches such as Team Rumble. Arguably, the other hardest part of this quest is acquiring Magneto Power in Fortnite in the first place. With Magneto being such a new character in Fortnite, a large portion of players are choosing to drop at the legendary Marvel character's location on the map, which is where they will find Magneto Power. Players essentially enter a free-for-all as they attempt to purchase Magneto Power for themselves, and once they manage to get it, they'll become the number one target in the match.
Magneto is one of the many skins players can unlock during Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked, with the entire Battle Pass and map focusing on providing players with some of the most exciting new content to date. Centered around a massive wasteland, players are encouraged to use vehicles to their advantage in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, with all kinds of upgrades scattered across the map. Several new powerful weapons, like the Nitro Fists, have fundamentally changed encounters in Fortnite, with the new Magneto Power shaking this up substantially as well.
