Its popularity increased exponentially in a short period of time, and it became an unprecedented success.

In the past, Fortnite has taken collaborations to the next level with event Battle Passes, allowing gamers to unlock tons of cosmetic items as long as they complete certain themed quests. A couple of weeks before the end of Chapter 4 Season 1 and Season 2, Fortnite added these two-week-long Battle Passes; this pattern could indicate that these events will continue to happen periodically.

Chapter 4 Season 1 ended on March 9, and Fortnite hosted the Most Wanted event from February 14 until February 28.
