The latest Fortnite leak from Ponyraee has revealed that Chapter 5 will bring several gameplay mechanics, including wall running, hill scrambling, and weapon attachments. The upcoming season will add the long-awaited first-person mode alongside a train system that goes around the island. In normal circumstances, Fortnite players slide down when they try to get high-up locations on the map; however, the scrambling mechanic will allow them to climb hills slowly. Considering the game takes place on a non-flat (hilly) island, this mechanic would be great for taking the positional advantage before diving into combat.

Fortnite Leaks New Gameplay Mechanics

Fortnite will reportedly implement a movement mechanic in Chapter 5, which lets players sprint towards a wall's surface during combat. In addition to new gameplay features, it will add the first-person mode that has been leaked a long time ago. One thing to note is that it's currently unknown whether the first-person settings will be permanent. Players shouldn't trust these leaks until confirmed by Epic Games.

With Fortnite's Chapter 4 entering its final phase, many leaks about the new season are making the rounds online, with one claiming that this year's Winterfest will be released on December 13. Players will get to unlock winter-themed cosmetic items, sprays, emotes, and other rewards during this annual event. Also, some insiders indicated that Fortnite will collaborate with the renowned LEGO to bring an in-game mode where players will disguise themselves as brick-built figures. It will reportedly become available in the first week of Chapter 5 Season 1, on December 7.
