In a recent post on Twitter, the popular leaker HYPEX revealed that the next season might be superhero-themed. The theory is based on a few key factors, such as the new season starting on the anniversary of Chapter 1 Season 4, which was also superhero-themed. HYPEX stated that there were 18 original superhero skins included in a recent Fortnite survey, many of which could be featured in a future battle pass. The popular leaker also claimed that a new version of Superman will be coming to the game during the next season, which may also include a mythic item with special abilities. It's expected that the new variant of the hero will be in collaboration with James Gunn's upcoming Superman film, which is scheduled to make its debut July 11.

According to the leaker, the symbols on the boons matched the symbols found on the superhero survey skins.
